Throughout our final project, I believe I have worked hard. I was always engaged in the rehearsal process and I think this was reflected in our final performances. I participated in all the exercises which helped me to get into character and helped me to learn more about what the life of an actor may consist of.
Learning lines was a difficult task as we really needed all of the cast to be in for the rehearsals to get a lot done, and to be honest, I think we only ever had a full company rehearsal about four times, and that was within the last week of rehearsals. I learnt my monologue pretty quickly which really helped as I was able to do that section off book quiet early on in the rehearsal process. It also helped because that is a completely different character to my 'school girl' character, and so it was easier for me to work on my 1920's character because I learnt that section early, so it gave me more time to work on it.
The overall process has been fun, and although, as a cast, we've had our ups and downs, I think we were able to work together to get a really good show on its feet and we performed it well to a high standard.
